Okay, here's how things stand at present:
I have received:
registration fees from two members.
confirmations from three other members (who have bought their
airline tickets but not sent in registration fees).
enthusiastic statements of intent from twenty other members
(who haven't sent or done anything as of yet).
If you plan on being at the qep'a', I need to hear from you, first by email, and
then by check. ;)
Meanwhile, I'll be trying to set things up with the hotel this week. Ideally,
you'll be able to phone in your hotel reservation and give them the magic word,
KLINGON, and get our discounted rate. We had a bit of trouble with this last
year, but then, last year 3/4 of the hotel staff had just been hired a couple of
weeks before. This year everyone should be clued in and eager to help. We'll
see.
I'll post specific hotel information (yes, even a phone number to call) when
I've worked out the final details. Probably by this coming Friday.
