Cultural Database.
Seriously, though, from those episodes of TNG with Worf [sic] and his
"mate," (can't remember her name), it seems to be just a liturgy,
spoken by at least the man, and not necessarily in the presence of
anyone but the two. Perhaps a very private, and thus elusive,
ceremony.
