Have you considered that the pronoun {'e'} or whatever it would be might
*precede* the sentence to which it refers. In this way, the VS syntax would
be retained and the sentences would be truly divided.

But using {'e'} is most likely not how SAS's work. There is most likely some
other formation. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being something
totally different from the SAO's as we know them. But, like you said once,
Okrand's a busy man. matuv.
