Never used in canon.
Martok compared getting married to a war breaking out: "A long, grueling,
intoxicating war." (DS9 "Strange Bedfellows)
"The phrase [{naH jajmey}] 'vegetable days' ... refers to one's youth, a
time before reaching an age considered appropriate for marriage. The
imagery is of a plant, rooted but growing, just as a Klingon youth still
needs grounding (the home) for nourishment (teaching) in order to grow
spiritually." (KGT 110)
Speaking of plants, "night-blooming Throgni" (*(tlhoghnI'}??) is a Klingon
flower with a distinctive fragrance [TNG "Angel One"]. Could this flower
have romantic connotations (like the Terran rose, especially the red rose)
somehow related to courtship, weddings or marriage?
Related verbs:
{Saw} "marry (groom does this)" and {nay} "marry (bride does this)".
*{tlhoghtay} and *{naltay} have been used unofficially in fandom for
"wedding, marriage ceremony". Worf and Jadzia's traditional Klingon
wedding was seen in DS9 "You Are Cordially Invited".
