Apparently, several things have conspired to keep people who want to  
join the Klingon Language Institute from achieving their goal.   
First, the KLI's Merchant page on the web is rumored to have been  
inoperative for more than a year.  Second, Dr. Schoen's official KLI  
email address is all but useless due to spam.  Finally, it seems that  
little or no effort is being expended to remedy these issues.

If you wish to try joining and/or renewing again, email me privately  
and I will put you in touch with him at his preferred (and distinctly  
non-widely published) email address.
