As I said to ghunchu'wI', I had thought that lay'SIv was talking about
importing new roots into the language. Of course Esperanto's derivational
system, being particularly vast, is capable of producing new words all the
time. However, my question to lay'SIv was brought on by his response to my
statement "However, if people were to start bringing in their own root
words, that would be it for Esperanto as a medium of communication". I had
already recognised the value of the Esperanto derivational system, but I was
referring to importing root morphemes.
