Used in canon:

   jar DamaSqu'bogh yIngu'
   What/Which is your favorite month?
("Identify the month that you very much prefer!") (st.k 12/12/96)

If you want to highlight the notion of "most prefer," you can
use the emphatic suffix {-qu'}: {jar DamaSqu'} "you very much
prefer the month." ("In this case, since "prefer" involves
making a choice, the one chosen is automatically the one that
   is "most" preferred. (st.k 12/12/96)

Speculation:

Does this verb behave like {neH} in not requiring {'e'} in SAO constructions?

Related verbs:

{qaq} "be preferable"; {wIv} "choose, select"

Related nouns:

   {wIv} "choice" [i.e. preference?]

>Homonyms:
> maS (noun) - moon

In ST6 Praxis is described as "a Klingon moon"; its destruction is near
enough to the Homeworld to precipitate the eventual decay of Kronos' ozone
layer. The novel "Sarek" and the CD game "Klingon Honor Guard" place
Praxis (or its remnants) in orbit around Qo'noS. It's unknown whether
Qo'noS has any other moons, although the ST6 reference certainly implies
the existence of at least one other.

Never used in canon.

Related nouns:

   {maSwov} moonlight; {SIbDoH} satellite (artificial)
