PUN: This is George Bernard Shaw's famous joke ridiculing English
notoriously complicated non-phonetic spelling. He gave the separate sounds
for /gh/, /o/ and /ti/ as a possible spelling of "fish", given that those
sounds are given by those spellings ? i.e. in enouGH, wOmen, naTIon.
In light of {ghotI'}, {bIQDep} (glossed "fish" in KGT) may actually be a
general term for any sea creature - Maltz's "different kings of animals
that lived in the water" - e.g. fish, aquatic mammals, crustacea, squids,
octopus, molluscs, etc.
{norgh} is glossed as "type of animal, a sharklike sea creature" in KGT and
is a dangerous Klingon predator in the novel SAREK.
