Used in canon:

   tuQtaHvIS Hem. ghaHvaD quHDaj qawmoH.
   He wears it proudly as a reminder of his heritage. S20
   ("While wearing it he's proud. It reminds him of his heritage.")

The causative of {qaw} "remember". The antonym would be the unattested
*{lIjmoH}, derived from {lIj} "forget".  Related verbs include {qawHa'}
"remember incorrectly", {ghov} "recognize".

Cf. also the noun {qawHaq} "memory banks, data banks".
