Never used in canon.

Antonym: {tam} "be quiet"

The noun is {wab} "noise, sound."

{chuS} apparently appears as a morpheme in the names of two Klingon musical
instruments: {meSchuS} and {chuS'ugh}. The {meSchuS} is "a large wind
instrument" (cf. KGT 75f.), but what a {chuS'ugh} is is still anyone's
guess. The word was originally coined in _Power Hungry_ (c1989),
apparently with Okrand's blessing who added it to the 1992 TKD
Addendum. In that novel Geordi is quoted as saying {chuS'ugh} loosely
translates as "a heavy grouping" and is described as sounding like a
forty-foot sheep being jabbed with an electric prod. Many of us used to
think it was the stringed lute which the singing Klingon chef {vutwI'}
played in DS9 "Melora" but Okrand didn't include it in his list of Klingon
stringed instruments in KGT (p.76):  {Supghew}, {leSpal}, {tIngDagh},
{HurDagh}. Others thought the {chuS'ugh} was the concertina which the same
chef played in DS9 "Playing God, but KGT tells us that is called a {SuSDeq}
or {may'ron} (cf. KGT 75f.).
