Hmmm, I hadn't thought of that.  Since {Daq} is a noun in its own right, that 
would make the whole thing a simple noun-noun construction with the meaning 
you suggested (although 'lights' is a lot better (i.e. less literal) 
translation).  "When in doubt, circumvent."
