SKI: quljIb describes his new duties, which bore him.
Technical Terms:
*tera'ngan ja* == Chess. Formed by analogy with {tlhIn ja} (klinzha), the game featured in John Ford's The Final Reflection.
*ghItlhmeH DIr* == Paper. Literally "skin for writing", formed by analogy with {ghojmeH taj}, "knife for learning".
*ghItlhwI'jo'* == Printer. Literally "scribe machine", from {ghItlhwI'}, "scribe stylus" and {jo'} machinery. While technically speaking, a printer "paints" {DIj} or stains {nguvmoH} paper with ink {rItlh}, a {DIjwI'jo'} doesn't acurately describe a printer, and a {nguvwI'jo'} sounds like a machine for dying wool or leather.
