I was thinking about how ancient Klingon comes about (actors
mispronouncing / sloppiness / Voyager), and in comparison to modern
Klingon, how one became the other. Was it a smooth transition, like in
the case of Old Church Slavonic to Russian, or more dramatic, like when
English was influenced by French (or Klingon by the Hur'Iq), displacing
many native words, but leaving the grammar relatively uninfluenced.
mova' 'aqI ruStaq is quite different from the modern equivalent, so,
anyone else have any speculation?
