Re: Assistance in translating

Be my pleasure to help out!

My sibling is a petaq.
/petaQ ghaH tuqnIghwI''e'/
My siblings are petaqs.
/petaQ chaH tuqnIghpu'wI''e'/
My brother is a petaq.
/petaQ ghaH loDnI'wI''e'/
My brothers are petaqs.
/petaQ chaH loDnI'pu'wI''e'/
My sister is a petaq.
/petaQ ghaH be'nI'wI''e'/
My sisters are petaqs.
/petaQ chaH be'nI'pu'wI''e'/
You are a petaq.
/petaQ SoH/
You are petaqs.
(I suppose you could say /petaQmey/ for the plural form of petaQ, but if you're talking to more than one "You," then use this one and leave off a plural suffix:)
/petaQ tlhIH/
(I leave off the plural suffix because it is presumed that the object of the sentence, "petaQ", is plural with the use of a plural subject, "You". And, "petaQ" is an epithet, I'm not quite sure you should use a plural suffix on an epithet.)
He is a petaq.
/petaQ ghaH/
She is a petaq.
/petaQ ghaH/
They are petaqs.
/petaQ chaH/ (assuming you're talking about beings, if not, use this one:)
/petaQ bIH/

Hope I helped...
