Actually, this is an idiomatic use of {je'} "feed (someone else)" and is 
explained in the TKW:

   qa' wIje'meH maSuv
   We fight to enrich the spirit.
   (lit. "We fight in order to feed the spirit.")

Elsewhere in canon:

   yIje'
   Feed him! TKD/ST3

   HIje'
   Feed me. STC:KLS

A literal translation of "enrich" would, of course, be *{mIpmoH} "to make 
rich" - from {mIp} "be rich".
