I don't know about "prowl," but how about (hee hee!):

qorbogh notqa'mey
ravens that scavenge

A /notqa'/ is a large black bird that Okrand is *obviously* associating with
a raven.  Ravens are indigenous to Earth, so Klingons don't have a word for
exactly that animal.

Or . . . hmmm . . .

ngIvbogh notqa'mey
ravens that patrol

lengbogh notqa'mey
ravens that roam

And so forth.  Some others have suggested useful words; plug them in as
appropriate.
