As opposed to a necessary redundancy?

While I agree with all parties here on the inappropriateness of using
{-lu'} with {net}, we have ample examples of redundancy in Klingon (as in
every other language I'm acquainted with). Often as not, the redundancy
serves to emphasize a particular aspect. While I don't support its use, I
can well imagine someone aruging the use of {-lu'} with {net} to get across
the idea of really emphasizing that it was an unspecified subject (and not
anyone else) that performed the action.

Conceptually, this doesn't very different from the use of pronouns in a
sentence where a verbal prefix already makes the subject and object clear.
