I think the "n + 1" corresponds to the {'ay' ghoHmeH 'op mI' boq
wa'}?

Can you explain what you mean by the words {ghoH} and {SIm}?
Since I don't understand what you mean by {ghoH}, I don't see
how replacing it by {SIm} would help.

I'll make an attempt at putting what you want into Klingon
(suggestions/corrections welcome):

'ay'meyvam tIchel: bItaghDI' wa' yIqel; bIrInmeH vagh yIqel;
Hoch 'ay' DachenmoHmeH, toghwI'vaD wa' yIboqmoH.

= Add up these sections: When you begin, consider 1. To finish,
consider 5. To create each section, add 1 to n (n = the counter,
{toghwI'}, for lack of a better way).

[Also, {toghwI'vaD wa' yIboqmoH} seems to be problematic...
how do I say, "Add 1 to n"?]

And maybe {tagh wa'; rIn vagh} can replace the {bItaghDI' wa' yIqel;
bIrInmeH vagh yIqel}, just like how we say "for i from 1 to 5"
and not "starting at 1, let i be the successive values up to 5".

jIloy neH. ghaytan pIm mIw. Of course this is all highly speculative.
