Note the homophonous noun {choH} "change" (TKD) or "reaction" (KBOP):

   choH lISbogh Hap'e': cha'pujqut
   Reaction Moderating Element - Crystalline Dilithium. KBOP

and the derived noun {choHwI'} "thing which alters":

   HoS choHwI' 
   transtator TKD

N.B. Do not confuse either with the Type 3 verb suffix {-choH} "change in
state/direction".
