my dictionary (webster's third new international dictionary, c1976) defines
'analepsis' as "the feast of Christ's acsension into heaven" and 'analeptic'
as "a restorative agent; esp.: a drug that acts as a stimulant on the central
nervous system" or "of, relating to, or acting as an analeptic"
so far, that's as far as i've gotten in my search for this term.
