My second exploration of the genre:
DIvI' jabwI' ja' tlhIngan <HInay!
ja'lu' Qaplu'meH 'oy'nISbej vay'.
jIH mu'uHmoHbe' HIqlIj,
paw'DI' loD 'oy'be' mIQwIj,
'a bImonDI' 'oy' mInDu'wIj jay'!>
Line 2 is a potential problem area. {ja'lu'} is supposed to mean "it is
said (that) ..." And I'm not sure whether I can get away with using {-lu'}
and {vay'} to refer to the *same* indefinite subject. Comments?
Oh, an earlier version of line 1 was: "DIy'a'na' ja' wo'rIv <HInay!"
