First of all, I fully agree with Voragh's assertion that context would be
very helpful in determining the best translation. However, I can offer a few
suggestions.
explorer - tu'wI' or nejwI'
miser - qurwI'
be cruel - wIH
As for "pioneer," context would definitely help. An example is given.
He was a pioneer. juH chu' nejta'.
