Making a statement negative.
betleH ghajbe' yaS
The officer does not have a bat'leth.
Add the verb suffix -be' to the Klingon verb to change the statement to
a negative statement.
More examples: paq ghajbe' yaS = The officer does not have a book.
betleH leghbe' yaS = The officer does not see the bat'leth.
paq leghbe' yaS = The officer does not see the book.
betleH je'be' yaS = The officer is not buying a bat'leth.
paq je'be' yaS = The officer is not buying the book.

'uch = holds, grasps (verb)
loD = man, male (noun)
be' = woman, female (noun)
puq = child, offspring (noun)
Drill: Your sentences will still be only three words with a thing as
the object and a person as the subject. Practice both positive and
negative statements.
