You're supposed to be accusing ME of that; *I*'m the one who always points
out that the head-flagging -'e' is not mandatory or necessary as often as
we commonly say. BUT, (a) I'd have to say that in this case, saying that
liquor is dry is at least as sensible as saying that a story is (i.e. both
likely to be metaphorical), so -'e' would likely be a good choice here, and
(b) the sentence didn't use a relative clause at all. See, it says -chugh,
not -bogh. "A story is dry if liquor doesn't accompany it" (I'd use -DI'
instead of -chugh, I think).
