Beginners' Klingon Language Workbook



Lesson 1:  Basic Sentences

Sample sentences:  Soj vIneH = I want food.  Soj DaneH = You want food. Soj 
neH yaS = The officer wants food.

Vocabulary:  chab = cake, pie, tart, dumpling (noun)

Now write and say aloud the above sentences replacing {Soj} with {chab} in 
each sentence.

Vocabulary:  yuch = chocolate (noun)

Rewrite and say aloud the sentences replacing {Soj} with {yuch}.

Vocabulary:  legh = sees (verb)  Note:  vIlegh, Dalegh, legh
je' = buys, purchases (verb) Note:  vIje', Daje', je'

Write and say aloud all the sentences you've just made with those three nouns 
-- {Soj}, {chab}, {yuch}- - replacing {neH} with the two new verbs {legh} and 
{je'}.




A new workbook page will appear twice each week.  These pages will be very 
easy.  But, work through them thoroughly.
