Actually, I expect it would be *hurricane*.  What's the English 
word for "tsunami"?  There isn't one; we use the Japanese name to
refer to a weather effect we only learned about from them.  We don't 
know a lot about Qo'noS, but my impression is that is doesn't have 
large bodies of water.  Hurricanes might be totally unknown there, 
so they'd just refer to it by its original Terran name.
