Michael, looks like you're having a bit of trouble reading the prefix
table. Turn to page 33. Look at the labels down the left side of the
table. These are for the SUBJECT, the performers of the action of the
verb. If the verb isn't being done to anything specified in the
sentence, use the prefixes in the first column. If it's being done to
something, then you find the OBJECT in the top row, and choose the
prefix from the intersection of the row and column. /lISop/ means
Also note that the section on adverbs in chapter five tells you that
"they/she/he/it eat(s) you (plural)."
adverbs (with a few exceptions) always go before the OVS of the
sentence.

nom Sop - they eat quickly
You can say:
nom Sop chaH - "They eat quickly" if context doesn't make it clear
it's plural eaters.

I see an off-by-one look up: "forehead" is probably right under
"focus" in the vocab list, right? Forehead is /Quch/. Have another
look at the section in chapter three on type-4 noun suffixes. See
that the suffixes ending in /'/ are only used when the thing
possesseed is a noun capable of using language -- not just a part of
one. So "your forehead" is /QuchlIj/. Now turn to section 6.1 and
read about the word order of Klingon sentences. The subject comes
AFTER the verb.

/Hab QuchlIj/ "Your forehead is smooth."

A sentence with "to be" in English is often translated into Klingon
without the Klingon form of "to be." Try writing simply "Heart of
targ is great," using the sentence structure you learned for "you have
a smooth forehead." Or read section 6.3 very carefully and see ho
it's done. You can copy the form used for "The prisoners are children"
to say this sentence.
