English translation:
Dutch and English are compulsory to everyone.
French, German, Latin and Ancient Greek are optional.
At other schools, also Spanish can be studied.
But unfortunately, one can't study Klingon at schools.

When I see the word "thing", I usually think of "real" things that
one can touch. But {Doch} is apparently also used for more abstract
"things", qar'a'?

I've read all books on the Klingon language.
