  These terms would only work if you started your trip from the First
  City on Kronos.  They're useless if you want to tell someone how to
  get from Indianapolis to Dayton.

  What's wrong with ujes and kellicams?  Oh, you're probably talking 
  about things like weight and volume, units for which are indeed not 
  in the lexicon.  Yet.  (But why bother doing unit conversion?  Just
  use terms we're familiar with; the metric system is quite useful.
  You *are* trying to *communicate*, right?)  And we don't have ways 
  to talk quantitatively about angles, brightness, radiation, 
  electrical current, etc.
