It means that you need to get yourself a real copy of The Klingon Dictionary
and read it.  Page 178 contains an expanded description of curses, which are
introduced in section 5.5 "Exclamations" on pages 57 and 58.

Briefly, (excl) means it's an exclamation.  That's an utterance that stands
alone as a sentence, like "Aha!" or "No."  An invective is a curse that just
expresses one's feeling about a situation, like "Drat!" or "Oops."
