A very eloquent description of what Star Trek has shown us to be the
basic nature of {parmaq}.

Par'Mach is impatient and irritable; Par'Mach certainly envies.
Par'Mach brags, is proud, and behaves itself inappropriately,
seeks its own way, is provoked, sees evil around every corner;
rejoices in guilt, but does not rejoice with duty; tolerates only
itself, believes only itself, hopes only for its own success, and
refuses to endure anything else...
No, I don't think {parmaq} has anything to do with this particular kind
of "love" at all; if anything, it's a pretty good *opposite*! :-)
