I don't understand the confusion about the date of the qep'a', but since
Alan has been misquoting the qep'a' web page, HolQeD, and the pre-final
schedule that went out in the mail to all KLI members in the US let me
set the record straight.
The qep'a' begins on Wednesday evening, July 16th, 1997 with the
informal banquet. That's J-U-L-Y, not June. The qep'a' has always been
in July, it's never been in June. I've never said June, and if you look
on a calender, the 16th of June isn't a Wednesday either. So it must be
July.
And that's why I said six and a half weeks away.
My thanks to Steve Weaver for posting the URL for the qep'a' page to the
list in response to Scott's inquiry (although, Scott, I had previously
sent you two separate emailings with this URL, not wanting to bother the
list).
And thanks also to Mark Shoulson for posting the new improved qep'a'
schedule of events to the website as well.
