RE: qep'a' loSDIch - martial arts demo

Lawrence:
As for seeing the martial arts demos, you might want to contact Chet
Braun of Pacific Warriors. It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that
he has a video tape in progress illustrating Klingon martial arts forms.
Chet?
A video tape is definitely in our plans but it requires much more
organization, work, and money to pull off well. It will be in the same
instructional format as Wing Lam's instructional martial arts video tapes
but a bit less dry that the typical martial arts instructional video, I
hope. Plans are to narrate it in tlhIngan Hol with English sub-titles.
The actual participants will have few lines as it is hard to do martial
arts and speak intelligibly at the same time. Yes, we'll eventually need a
fluent speaker of Hol for the narration. Can't promise any money but
probably can arrange travel, with food and lodging in a home in the
redwoods, plenty of martial arts, and of course fame (minus the fortune).
Interested parties can email me privately. In the mean time buy the first
book or my President and CEO (also my wife) will cancel the next project.
:(

Actually the next product will be Volume 2 of Secret Fighting Arts of the
Warrior Race. It will cover some more basics and a meqleH set. It is due
to go to the printers sometime this summer. Hopefully I'll have some
copies of the draft available for review at the qep'a' loSdIch.

The third book in the series is a wacky, although good martial arts, set
titled "The Drunken Bar Stool" that is a take-off on the Chinese Drunken
Style and the Chinese wooden bench weapon set. Since the set is pretty
difficult and it is unlikely that many will actually try to learn it, I
will concentrate more heavily on Tavern humor, bawdy jokes and proverbs,
curse warefare, and long pointless stories that only an aged, drunk,
Klingon warrior could relate. :) In other words, less detailed
instruction and more fun. Due in print...don't want to think about it now,
too much else to do.

Sorry about the lack of Hol but I'm late to work,

HetaQ
(Chet Braun)
