re: KLBC:new words--magic, magician

As a practicing Wiccan, I think your missing the point with your
translations of what witchcraft is. The common misconception that most
people have is the one Hollywood has bestowed upon witches or the
misconceptions of other religions as to the "true" nature of witchcraft.
Wiccans are not "controllers of spirits" or necessarily those who seek
"spirit knowledge". Instead Wiccans (or witches, the terms are
interchangeable) are worshippers of nature, the elements, and the cycles of
life. Being a tlhingan Hol novice, I do not know the the appropriate word
for "nature", but I would suggest replacing the expression <qa'> or <qa'
Sov> in <qa'Sov lalDan> with the appropriate word for nature to make the
literal translation "nature knowledge religion" or more simply "nature
religion". The latter would probably capture the true aspect of Wicca better.

Odd...never thought I'd be discussing Wicca here of all places.
