Hey, it's one of those silly little creations of the Instantaneous Song
Production Company, a.k.a. Qanqor, ~mark, and Lawrence ... the qep'a' just
brings out the weird in some people, don't'cha think? ;)
Anyhow, I wanted to ask about the grammar (Oh, goodness, NO!) of this little
bit -- I want to know why the -Daq is on the Doq (a verb) and not on the Duj
(a noun), where it would seem, to my befuddled mind, to belong. I've
listened to it a couple times and am convinced it is sung on the tape the
way I've written it. Was it just one of those "it sounds better this way,
just leave it" things, or just a slip of the brain due to the extreme
wackiness and lack of sleep brought on by the qep'a'? Inquiring minds want to
know. :) And I could swear somebody mentioned something about migrating
suffixes some ways back ... what kind of critter is that? ::shrug::
Thanks an' all that rot ...
