The twentieth issue of HolQeD has been mailed out. The domestic bulk mail
occurred on Monday, December 30th, and the international mailing went out
the next day, Tuesday, December 31th.
Please note several things when your issue arrives:
1) This issue is a bit larger than most issues. There are 24 pages instead
of the usual 20. No extra charge (though it did bump up the price for the
international mailings -- the KLI absorbed this). Some of the material in
the issue can be found on the KLI's website, but having the information
printed and preserved, and available to the non-online portion of the
membership seemed appropriate and reasonable.
2) There are two small enclosures with every issue, be sure they don't
accidentally slip back into the envelope when you're taking out your issue.
The first of these is a coupon which you can use to save a few bucks on
purchasing the second issue of jatmey and/or the paperback compilation THE
GRAMMARIAN'S desk. This discount is only available to KLI members; think
of it as one of the perks of membership.
The second insert is a small decal, suitable for mounting on the rear
window of your car. I'll say no more about it now, as I want you to be at
least a little surprised when you open the issue. One decal was sent to
every current member with his/her issue. Additional decals will soon be
available on the merchant page.
As always, I would welcome a quick bit of email (to me, not to the list) to
let me know when the issues begin arriving at their destinations. Thanks,
