I'll throw in my 50,000 quatloos worth.
I might be tempted to use the verb Qap (succeed) rather
than ta (accomplish), though this is very much a judgement
call.
The second sentence, "There is no 'try'", I might be tempted
to render as
nIDlu'be' (One does not try) or
nIDlu'be' neH (One does not just try.)
For grammatical consistency, I might also use the -lu' suffix
on the verbs in the first sentence:
talu' pagh talu'be'.
Oh, yes. TKD gives joq as an inclusive or (that is, A or B,
or both A and B) joining nouns. The sentence "you accomplish
or you do not accomplish" is a conjunction of two sentences,
and you want to use the EXCLUSIVE or (either A or B, but not
both). Thus, we see that "or" should be rendered as pagh.
... Illusionists only think they do it.
