Hi there. I'm back from Canada and I've just waded through 300+ messages from
the list (and boy are my arms tired).
The qep'a' wejDIch is fast approaching and some of you have been asking "Hey,
who do I call to make my reservations?" Well, here's your answer:
Phone the Best Western Hotel at 215/464-9500.
Identify yourself as being with the KLINGON LANGUAGE INSTITUTE when you make
your reservation. This is necessary to get our discounted conference rate.
Do NOT use the words qep'a' wejDIch because the people at the hotel will be
clueless and you will not get the discounted rate, nor will you be grouped with
the other tlhInganpu'.
The hotel is located at 11580 Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
I will be including a crude map and instructions on how to find hotel (once
you've found Philadelphia) in an upcoming mailing. However, if you can't wait,
the hotel should be willing to send you similar information once you've made
your reservation.
Please note: I need to have your registration fees and banquet fees BEFORE the
qep'a'; ideally, as soon as possible. This is particularly important with
respect to the banquet so we know how much food to prepare. So, please, send in
those checks today (Ferengi operators are standing by).\
One last note: If you've already registered (and/or paid for the banquet) please
drop me a short note via email just so I can double-check and verify it.
