{qoy'} = beg, plead (for something?)
{poQ} = demand (seems transitive to me); I use this word for ordering dinner,
too.
{yu'} = interrogate, question (probably enemy prisoners, etc.)
{tlhob} = ask (a question), request (information)
{neH} = want, desire

In conclusion, I, too, see {tlhob} as "ask" and would like to look more
carefully at {qoy'} and {poQ}.
