The report of Gowron at a convention caused little trouble,
but the continuous discussion of it causes much trouble.

I.e. The point is made. It may not have been the most on-topic
comment for the list, but it was far from the LEAST on-topic. If the
original announcement had been let to lie, or if the first comment had
been accepted as given, we'd have wasted a LOT less bandwidth.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd personally rate telling of Gowron/Robert
O'Reilly's appearance would be a 9.5 appropriate to this group, owing
to his extensive work on the Klingon CDs. OTOH Bellana Torres or Dax
would have been .5.
