In a scant 26 hours I'll be onsite at the qep'a'. I'll be spending the rest of
today doing endless last minute chores such as mailing out merchandise orders,
loading more than 1000 cans of soda into my car, and printing up copies of the
song I've written for the qep'a' cabaret (yes, some lucky people will get to
hear me sing!).
At present count, we'll have 40 people attending one or more days of the qep'a',
and it looks like about 37 sticking around through Saturday night for the
banquet. These numbers are twice what we managed last year, and quite frankly
the whole prospect scares the bajoobies out of me.
There are many surprises planned for the qep'a', all of which will be shared
with the mailing list after the conference has ended. There are some special
gifts that have been prepared for all attendees, as well as prizes which some
lucky Klingonists will win.
So, if you're drooling with envy because you cannot attend take the time now to
plan for next year's qep'a' loSDIch. I'll be posting the date for it if I
survive this year's event.
