{-mey} only gives the "scattered" meaning when applied to beings capable
of using language (or on "inherently plural" nouns like {cha} or {ray'}).
In general, it just means "more than one"; {pongmey} is simply "names."

{nej} means "look for"; if you want to express "find", consider {Sam}.
The prefix {yI-} indicates a command to "you"; you need to use {vI-} to
indicate a statement: "I [look for] it."
"A new Klingon name" is {tlhIngan pong chu'}. "Stative" verbs can be
used after a noun as if they were adjectives (see TKD 4.4). There isn't
any reason I can think of to make {tlhIngan pong} a compound; it makes
sense as two words.
The thing you are seeking is the object of this sentence; it needs to be
placed before the verb.
After all these problems are fixed, we wind up with:
{tlhIngan pong chu' vISam} or {...vInej}.
