In Chinese, Tao (dau4) not only covers paths, roads, streets, and other
concrete courses, it even covers the abstract courses of philosophy. It
covers paths of knowledge, even courses of meals (rare, now), paths of life,
trails of stars across the heavens (yin2-dau4 = Milky Way), etc. Although we
have other words to specify the size of the path, alley, highway, whatever,
Tao is pretty broad.
In conclusion, {He} works for me.
