Hasn't it been established by now that "bat'telh" is clearly a typo or
misprint (in TKD or the ST Encyclopedia) for "bat'leth" that now, by
virtue of it having appeared in print, has become frozen into canon? If
you watch any duelling scene with the closed captions on, you will see
this sword being consistently referred to as a "bat'leth" NOT a
"bat'telh". Too bad, as I don't think TPTB at Paramount/Simon & Schuster
were clever enough to do it intentionally.
