David's remark about HIja' being intended as an imperative, not an affirmative
spun off in my head as the beginning of an Abbot & Costello routine. Here's the
bare bones of it, I'll leave it as an exercise for the list to finish it and
present the skit at the next qep'a'
A: De' Daghaj. De' vIghaj. DaH maja'chuq'a'?
C: HIja'.
A: maj. HIja'.
C: (loStaH) toH?
A: qaja'choH'a'?
C: HIja'.
A: ghobe'. HIja'.
and so on...
Okay, so it's not exactly "Who's on first?" but it's a start.
