Malibu Comics

We're making some progress. A few weeks ago I received a call from Phil Crain,
an associate editor at Malibu Comics in California. Malibu has the license from
Paramount to publish a Deep Space Nine comic book, which they have been doing
for a while now (and rather well, in my opinion).

Phil said they had an issue coming out that had a lot of Klingon in it, and
wondered if I could take a look at it. I agreed to and he faxed me about six or
seven pages from the comic. I went over them and faxed him back five pages of
comments, notes, and suggestions.

Apparently they were pleased with this, and have asked me to do some more. The
script for issue #31 just arrived and I'll be going over it and faxing in some
more comments, notes, and suggestions. This is particularly good news, but it
gets better. Those of you who are comic collectors can expect to see a credit
or comment or somesuch to the KLI in an upcoming issue. Personally, I'm pushing
for them to print our address on their letters' page, but we'll have to wait and
see how it goes.

Now, if only Rick Berman would call...
