To me, "wierd" suggests something extraordinarily strange or odd and can
often suggest something mysterious or supernatural. But I haven't seen a
canon use of the word in a sentence, and unfortunately, we don't have
a precise definition of what the word suggests to a Klingon.

Well, there are several examples where we have two different words for
the same thing:
quv & batlh
SuvwI' & vaj
la' & ra'wI'
nuv & ghot
bIt & jotHa'
yuQjIjDIvI' & yuQjIjQa'
ta' & voDleH
Duy & 'oSwI'
jonta' & QuQ
yeq & jIj
yIj & rIp
yaS & 'utlh

And some words seem to have varient pronunciation:
HIja' & HISlaH
Su' & SuH
jaw & joH
'a & 'ach
lu' & luq
'orghen & 'orghenya'
DenIb & DenIbya'

And sometimes we just don't know the correct spelling of a word:
mojaq & mojaQ
betleH & batleH (from the Skybox trading card S8)

At the qep'a', wIghbe' was working on a comprehensive Klingon thesaurus
and passed out copies of her draft to some of the grammarians for their
editorial input. Does anyone know the progress of that work?
