In a frenzy of hacking around with Visual Basic (something I recently
acquired), I made up a little "picture book" program with a children's
story modeled after the Curious George stories. If you have Windows
(and the VBRUN300.DLL library, freely available from Microsoft) you
can download the story and run it - OR you can view the html version.
