Welllllll, not quite. This means, "Today, death is good." While
grammatically correct, that's not quite what the original was
saying.

The complex part is that what we so casually say in English as
"a good day to die" lacks a similar grammatical construction in
Klingon. We can recast it, as you just did, but those dedicated
to the original never like any of the recastings, so we are
stuck. I mean, if we get to the root of this, we really wind up
with something like:
DaHjaj jIHeghrup 'ej jIQuch.
I'll argue that this is closer in spirit to the original than
your suggestion, but different enough in literal translation
that others will not like it.
