I think you really have to keep the "Doch" or some sort of noun. Otherwise
it means "It's a Klingon" i.e., it's a humanoid life-form with a rough
forehead, etc, etc. You need to say "It's a Klingon *thing*" i.e., some
thing (maybe lurDech, maybe ta', whatever), some noun which is associated
with Klingons.
